What's On

W!P "Five performers prepare for an unknown situation and constantly struggled to make sense of what is happening" what happen if while rehearsing it they discover it? What did they discover? Can it be shown? W!P presents the ephemeral dynamic of a life art form which often is invisible when seeing a performance. An unfinished piece that is not a product or a result of a creative process. It is rather art in itself!

Supplying variety...

From exhibitions and workshops to performance arts, there is something to entice any creative mind.

Film nights, themed events and happenings add to our social mix. The Shop is a music learning, rehearsal and performance space, with a small staging area.

‘New music Fridays’ feature an eclectic mix of local talent while our jamming and impro sessions welcome even the most amateur performer.

We welcome proposals for poetry and prose readings, book groups, talks and performance events; productions can be performed ‘in the round’ and The Shop offers a unique platform for innovative theatre. The Shop can accommodate small group dance lessons and small scale dance performances.

Contact Georgia at events.theshop@googlemail.com if you are interested in booking tickets or holding an event of your own.
